Farm Shares Love and Vegetables

Last summer, Jake and I purchased a farm share. You give the farm some money, and they bring you vegetables fresh from the farm each week. You don't get to choose what you get, they just bring what they have at the time. We thought it would be fun for us to try working some new vegetables into our meals and good for us to eat more vegetables and support a local farm. It turned out to be a really fun experience.

Each week, they would usually bring us some fresh herbs, mixed greens, squash or zucchini, beets, onions carrots, and cucumbers. We also got peppers, tomatoes, and green beans a couple of times. We had a great time trying new vegetables, and we ate a lot healthier for the summer! We would definitely try this again. Here are a few pictures we took while enjoying our farm share.
