On Saturday, Ryan, Katie, and Will came over to celebrate my birthday. Will is so funny. He gets older and taller and cuter and smarter every time I see him! He was particularly funny this time.
I think most of you have been to our apartment since we did a little re-decorating. We had to buy a new bookshelf to accomodate all of our books, which meant we had to rearrange our living room furniture to get it to fit. I was meaning to write a post about it, but time got away from me. Now I have an excuse to put up the pictures that I took. We moved both of our bookshelves into a little "library corner" and hung up some pictures of sock monkeys from last year's calendar. This is what it looks like now:
Will was looking at the monkeys and asking us what they were. After we told him that they were monkeys, Jake asked him which one was his favorite. He pointed at the one on the orange background. Katie said, "I bet you like that one because it looks like daddy."
Will started laughing histerically and ran over to Ryan saying, "Daddy, you're a monkey!" He thinks he is so funny. So do I.
When they were leaving, they stepped out on our landing and told Will to say goodbye. He said, "See you soon. Five-and-one-and-later." It took me a minute to figure out that he was reading our apartment number, 15. Such a silly kid.
